Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tracing and Tracking of shipments
Monitoring freight to ensure account parameters are being met and delivered on time
Communicating with freight management carriers and clients
Proof of delivery and shipment status
Managing customers - both suppliers and vendors
Troubleshooting and resolving problems
Finding opportunity for additional sales and up selling to current customers
Responding to customer inquiries via phone and email in a timely manner
Updating and entering in all information in the Transportation Management Database
REQUIREMENTS:
 
1-2 years of customer service experience
1-2 years of prior experience in Transportation and Logistics
Prior experience with Transportation Management databases is not required but preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional and service oriented
Strong Analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Detail oriented and accurate
Ability to prioritize tasks
Multi-tasker
Works well in a team environment
Computer/Tech skills are a must
